Jalisa Rose Smith
Women of God, mother, author, inspirational speaker, and children’s grief advocate are just a few ways to describe Jalisa Rose Smith. Jalisa has a deep passion for writing children’s books that help young readers understand and cope with grief. After losing her father at a young age, she struggled to understand why God allowed such a loss. However, as her relationship with God grew stronger, she realized that this loss was part of the purpose God placed on her life.
Jalisa believes we are all created with purpose—to serve, to care for others, and to walk in God’s calling. Through her work, she has created a self-healing tool designed to bring hope, comfort, and smiles back to children’s faces, while sharing her testimony of how God delivered her from a dark season.
In addition to children’s books, Jalisa enjoys writing poetry, drawing inspiration from her own life experiences. She begins each day in prayer and reading the Bible, giving praise to the Most High for the gift of another day.
